Produced by Takara Tomy, this figure is the second installment of the dream collaboration between Transformers and Neon Genesis Evangelion. Scanning EVA Unit-02, Rodimus Prime transforms into "EVA Prime Unit-02". It features the iconic styling and color scheme of EVA Unit-02, and can fully transform between robot mode and truck vehicle mode.
The appearance design highly restores the iconic elements of EVA Unit-02. The robot mode features full articulation, allowing for a rich variety of dynamic poses. It comes with a rich set of accessories inspired by EVA Unit-02's weapons: the Anti-Matter Swords can be attached to the fists via connectors or mounted on both ends of the Spear of Longinus handle; two Photon Palette Rifles are included for dual-wielding poses. All accessories can be stored on the back mounting unit. The chest cover can be opened to reveal a removable core, which can be attached to the included Core Matrix. The head visor can be switched between open and closed states.
