Metal Build Hi-Nu Gundam HWS Option Set Preorder

Scheduled for release in 4th Quarter of 2026.

Produced by Bandai Spirits, this expansion set comes from the novel Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack - Beltorchika's Children. The HWS (Heavy Weapon System) was originally designed by mechanical designer Yutaka Izubuchi as an enhanced armament for the RX-93 ν Gundam in the CCA-MSV design series. It did not exist in the original novel's continuity for the Hi-Nu Gundam. Following the release of the MG Hi-Nu Gundam Ver.Ka in 2014, Bandai obtained Izubuchi's permission and entrusted Hajime Katoki to redesign an HWS specifically for the Hi-Nu Gundam, adding even richer weapon functionalities.

This METAL BUILD option set is based on the MG version's design, incorporating mechanical details, diverse armor color applications, and marking prints in the signature METAL BUILD style, with some parts using die-cast material to enhance the weapon's heavy texture. The set includes the Hyper Mega Rifle and High Mega Shield, along with additional armor parts featuring deployment gimmicks that reveal internal missile launchers. When combined with the main body, it creates a massive silhouette worthy of the HWS name. This product is compatible with both METAL BUILD Hi-Nu Gundam and METAL BUILD Hi-Nu Gundam [METAL BUILD EXPO] (excluding some specifications).
